Is your passion level high or low, is it fervent or mediocre? This
lesson will discuss how to have holy passion for God.
- What does it mean to live with a
holy passion?
- Holy passion is from God, it is toward God, and it is for
Him and for His purposes and plans.
- Passion is a drive, a focus, a commitment, an energy that we
direct toward the Lord and His purpose for our life, and
toward the people He died to save.
- The core of all holy passion is the love of God - John 3:16.
- Why people don't have holy passion.
- Parable of the sower - Mark 4:13-20. What steals the Word of
God and holy passion from your heart and life?
- Tribulation and persecution.
- Cares of this world.
- Deceitfulness of riches and the desire for other things.
- Loses savor - Matthew 5:13.
- A believer is the salt of the earth.
- When salt becomes contaminated, mixed, or diluted it
loses its flavor.
- Make a decision not to let things or people dilute your
passion for God.
- Have passion for things that count
and have eternal value - Philippians 3:7-14.
- The main thing is to know Christ and the power of His
resurrection.
- Forget those things which are behind and reach forward to
those things which are ahead.
- Press toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ
Jesus.
