LIVING IN GOD'S ABUNDANCE

  1. Seven scriptures to help you live in God's abundance.
    1. Genesis 12:2 - "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing."
    2. Genesis 26:12 - "Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. . . ."
    3. Deuteronomy 8:18 - "You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth. . . ."
    4. Malachi 3:10-11 - " 'Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,' says the Lord of hosts, 'if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes. . . .'"
    5. Matthew 6:33 - "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
    6. Luke 6:38 - "Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. . . ."
    7. Philippians 4:19 - "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
  2. Seven questions to ask ourselves regarding our wealth.
    1. Our wealth is the sum total of all we have accumulated in our lifetime of work.
    2. As you look at the totality of your resources and possessions, ask God:
      1. Are there things I possess that would be of better use in Your kingdom work?
      2. Are there things I can delay or postpone in regards to spending in order to invest more into the work of the Lord?
      3. What things am I willing to give up in order to invest those assets in better soil for a greater harvest and eternal results?
      4. Is God's harvest of souls important enough for me to make a major change in the way I save, spend, and give the money He has entrusted into my stewardship?
      5. Do I believe in God's promise of 30-60-100 times multiplication of my seed more than the world's percentage return on investments?
      6. Can I believe for resources to come into my hands to be given for the work of the Lord?
      7. Knowing that God will multiply my seeds, am I willing to increase my commitment as God increases me?
