In this lesson you will learn the scriptural principles of sowing
and reaping and the importance of giving cheerfully. You will learn
that harvest and compassion go hand in hand and that the fields are
already white for harvest.
- How you give determines how you receive - 2 Corinthians 9:6-11.
- If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly.
- If you sow bountifully you will reap bountifully.
- If you sow cheerfully and bountifully you will have an
abundance for every good work.
- The blessing of being a sower - Mark 4:1-8.
- When you sow your financial seed into good ground, you will
get a harvest of thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.
- Compassion of Jesus - Matthew 9:35-38.
- When you are moved with compassion for the multitudes, you
will begin to see the harvest and then be a soulwinner in the
harvest field.
- Also, you will pray for more laborers to be sent forth into
the harvest field.
- The harvest is now - John 4:34,35.
- Jesus said that His meat is to do God's will.
- God's will is for us to reap the harvest.
- You need to lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, for
they are already white for harvest.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
- How did you learn to give cheerfully?
- How has the compassion of Christ helped you be a soulwinner?
- How are you sowing your financial seeds into the harvest and
personally being a witness?
BE A DOER OF THE WORD
Every day when you go to work or go about your daily activities,
say to yourself, "I am going out into the harvest field."
If you begin to see your daily activities as opportunities to
minister, it will change your outlook on being a daily witness for
Jesus.
